On this occasion a language competition was organized at University of Lucknow in the morning during which students from Linguistics department presented poems , songs and short essays in their mother tongue.

Prof. Sadaf Munshi talked on the topic “Language Endangerment, Documentation and Revitalization: An Integrated Approach” on the occasion of International Mother Tongue Day. While sharing her views on all the three concepts she underlined the importance of a wholistic approach.
