We have four presentations during this series. We are glad to share that Ms Bismita, Ms Rashmita and Ms Priyam Talukdar, our three new members, took this opportunity to present their works on three different languages of North-East India. Rashmita talked about language retention and attitude of Karbi speakers whereas Bismita highlighted the situation of Language Use and Language Attitude Among the Koch Rajbongshi. Priyam’s paper dealt with motion verbs of Bodo language. Our first speaker Sapna Kashyap presented a detailed description of the language attitude, language shift and maintenance of an Endangered language Raji.
