SEL India is proud to be associated with Phase 2 of the Trilingual Talking Dictionary Project, an initiative organized by the Tribal Folk Art and Dialect Development Academy and supported by the Madhya Pradesh Sanskriti Parishad, Bhopal.

Our team conducted a “Field Method and Data Collection Training” for twenty participants in the scenic hills of Pachmarhi, hosted at the Sanjay Gandhi Yuva Netritva Evam Gramin Vikas Prashikshan Sansthan.

During this immersive workshop, our dedicated team trained non-linguists in essential language documentation techniques, including data recording, data transfer, file naming protocols, IPA transcription, sound slicing using Audacity, and data management.

We also organized live field-based word collection exercises, complemented by interactive sessions on digital archiving and language preservation.
